The 2023 refurbishment has elevated the hotel to new heights with the addition of five Scandinavian-inspired spa suites offering commanding sea views across Fowey estuary. There are also several new interconnectable rooms for multigenerational and large families. 

Children are spoilt for choice with ample opportunities and activities. For younger children, aged 3 months to 8 years, the Four Bears Den is an Ofsted registered kids club. Activities here change frequently but include baking, messy play and arts & crafts. During weekends and school holidays the Den team also offer family activities that parents can join in with such as scavenger hunts, ‘mocktail’ making and fire-pit marshmallow toasting. At the Four Bears Den, guests receive two hours of complimentary childcare per child, per day, for each night of their stay. For older children there are off-site activities including zip-lining as well as the on-site games and cinema room.

Fowey Hall’s gorgeous outdoor pool with panoramic sea views is open throughout the summer months (April – September), alongside a 12 metre indoor-pool, Horsebox-Style outdoor sauna, treatment rooms, steam room and gym. The pools offer family and adult-only times affording time for everyone.

The cherry on the cake is definitely the hotel’s location, just a 10-minute walk from the sheltered cove of ReadyMoney. With sandy shores and calm, shallow waters, complete with an anchored bathing platform over the summer months, the cove is a slice of coastal heaven.
