Like many mums on maternity leave, Jess Buckley found herself searching for affordable and cute baby clothes that would actually maintain quality after several washes. She started Myles and Me, a gorgeous collection of bright and colourful checked and patterned dungarees designed to last. Inspired by her own son Myles, each pair of dungarees ranges from 3 months up to 3 years, priced at £40.

“What started as a simple idea quickly became a brand built around one belief. Children’s clothing should feel special, be made with care and last far beyond a single season.” Jess says, “As a parent, I know how frustrating it is to buy clothes that wear out after only a few washes. Knees wear through, straps snap, fabrics lose their shape and before long they need replacing. Children’s fashion has become increasingly disposable and I wanted to do things differently.”

“At Myles and Me, I focus on creating timeless dungarees that children genuinely enjoy wearing and parents love dressing them in. They are designed for climbing, crawling, exploring and everyday adventures while remaining stylish enough to become wardrobe favourites. They are just as at home worn on their own in summer as they are layered through the colder months.”

Designed to combat the multitude of fast fashion brands flooding the kidswear market, Myles and Me is built on pillars of sustainability and longevity. Quality is at its core with Jess drawing on her own personal experience to ensure each piece can be worn time and time again, handed down to friends and siblings or donated.

“From the very beginning, I knew I did not want to create another fast fashion brand. The fashion industry already produces more clothing than the world needs and too much ends up in landfill. That is why every Myles and Me collection is produced in small, carefully considered batches. It allows me to focus on quality over quantity and avoid producing unnecessary excess stock.

For me, sustainability starts with longevity. I believe the most sustainable clothing is clothing that is loved, worn often and passed on. Every pair of dungarees is designed with that in mind, using quality fabrics, thoughtful construction and a comfortable fit that keeps up with childhood.”

Due to this, batches are limited and pieces sell out fast.

“Myles and Me is still at the beginning of its journey, but my vision has remained the same since day one. I want to create clothing that parents can trust, children feel comfortable in and families can treasure for years to come.

I hope Myles and Me offers families a slower, more thoughtful approach to children’s clothing, proving that timeless style, durability and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Looking ahead, I would love to see Myles and Me stocked in well known retailers across the UK while continuing to stay true to the values the brand was built on, creating thoughtfully made clothing that lasts. My biggest dream is for families around the world to discover Myles and Me and for our dungarees to become a much loved staple in children’s wardrobes for generations to come.”
