Founded by celebrity fashion stylist Rebecca Lockwood, Frank and Rey was born from needing a brand with independent style at an affordable price point in the UK. Comprising unisex pieces, graphic tees and fun prints, Rebecca’s inspiration hails from her own experience as a celebrity stylist as well as her own two sons. After finding a lot of High Street and supermarket pieces ‘cheesy’, she conceptualised Frank & Rey as an answer to how she herself wanted to dress her two boys.

Frank and Rey is tapping into a massive market of parents (especially boy parents!) who want to dress their kids in age appropriate and fun fashion without an overload of character pieces and slogans. Alongside cute design, the brand’s unisex items allow mix and match outfits as well as the opportunity for multiple wears amongst siblings, boosting cost per wear.

“As a stylist, I wanted to create a children’s brand that reflected everything I know about effortless style” says Rebecca,

“Every collection is designed around versatile, unisex pieces that can be mixed and matched with ease, making getting dressed simple for parents while still allowing children to express themselves and feeling like they are wearing a fun outfit. Quality is incredibly important to me too, so we focus on soft, comfortable fabrics that children genuinely want to wear.”

With competitive pricing (£20 for jeans, £14 for graphic t-shirts and £15 for shorts and trousers), Frank and Rey is positioning itself as an affordable brand without compromise on style or quality. With their summer sale (running now), most items are currently discounted with a further 3 for 2 offer also running.

Alongside their clothing, Frank and Rey’s accessories have also proven incredibly popular. Providing the same cool designs and fun patterns as their apparel, the brand’s scrunchies (just £3), bandanas (£4), hats (£12) and mini backpacks (£15) add a playful touch that only a stylist like Rebecca could add to an outfit.

“What started as a passion project inspired by my sons has grown into a wonderful community of loyal customers. One of the things I’m most proud of is how many families come back to shop with us again and again. Our return rate is incredibly low because customers love the products when they receive them. As both a mum and a stylist, my goal has always been to create clothing that looks great, feels amazing and makes life a little easier for parents.” Rebecca continued.

“One of my favourite things is being stopped in the street by people asking where my boys’ outfits are from, or receiving messages from mums telling me they’ve had exactly the same experience. That’s when I know we’re creating something that truly resonates.”
